I’ve been with my significant other for about five months now. Feels a lot longer actually. I don’t know what it is but part of it I believe it’s because we get along so well. It’s like we have been friends for years on end. It’s a serious one too, the type you would bring home to the folks. He’s quite special this guy. It’s amazing how much a person can change for the better and the influence one individual can have on that. He slowed me down when my life was becoming a terrible obstacle course. My emotions were all over the place and he helped me feel secure again.
I believe relationships are supposed to spark something spectacular in you, and for the other person as well. It should be a mirror and help you become your best. It teaches you the importance of reliance, friendship, and love. It’s all interwoven together.
It’s a beautiful thing, love. I love reminding him, baby don’t worry you know that you got me.
